LIZZIE ESAU
Lizzie Esau (pronounced EESAW) was born in London but raised in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne within a very artistic family (artist mother and musician father). Having penned her thoughts to song for over a decade, her passion to express herself through music hasn’t faded since. Finding influence in Wolf Alice, Beabadoobee, Bob Vylan and Radiohead, she’s keen to blow the lid off any one sonic box.
Shortlisted by BBC R1 for the Live Lounge Competition 2021. The band have been selected from thousands to play Radio 1's Big Weekend, plus plays by R1’s Gemma Bradley and Jack Saunders. January 2022 saw them voted Tip for 2022 by BBC Radio Newcastle.
ambitions. Working with her live band - guitarist Shaun “Chippy” Chipp, bassist Joe Bennison, and drummer Rob Maynard - the North East talent has had a busy live schedule over the last twelve months. Establishing her sound with support slots for Baby Queen, The Amazons and Upsahl - as well as performing at festivals including BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Boardmasters, 100above & many more - Esau has cemented her name as one to keep an eye on.
With Catherine Marks (Producer of Foals, Wolf Alice, The Killers) - recorded tracks Lizzie promises to kick off 2024 with an immense epic alternative sound.

Steve tried to fight the urge to make music his career, but the force in him was too strong. Influences are as wide and as they are broad; Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones & Rod Temperton to Vulfpeck, Thundercat, Khruangbin, Todd Terje, Hot Chip, Parcels, Moonchild, & Vampire Weekend.
Purveyor of lush, indie, alt / pop anthems with retro influences. Steve has been working most recently with Lizzie Esau to create her unique, immense sound.

Nina began her music career as Studio Manager at Trident II studios in the late 80's, from there her eye for good music and a talent for getting records made lead her to her jump from poacher to gamekeeper and join CBS/Sony Music & Polygram. Making records with the biggest names including All Saints, Jamiroquai, Pearl Jam, E17, and The Fine Young Cannibals.
Now, in between yoga, animal rights campaigning and walking her dogs she's helping good humans make great music.
